If the title doesnt say it all, well basically do you think space goes on forever or in my case

I believe that space is like our planet there is millions of them surrounded by millions more! And i think there are a species out there exactly the same as us! If not linked somehow

Am I the only one who isn't getting why this is a dumb question? :/

On topic: I see two major possibilities.
1) The universe is a sphere.
So, just like when anything spreads out equally in all directions, it's most likely going to be a sphere.
The good part is what would happen if we reached the edge though.
Would we keep going? Or would we be sent to the other side of the universe to travel back through?

2) The Ekpyrotic Universe theory
There are either two or an infinite number of branes floating in between dimensions.
Over billions of years they fluctuate and sometimes collide.
When they do, they inject matter into each other at a single point of contact.
This could have synced with the expansion and de-expansion of the universe and if we could watch it, it would look like the big bang repeating itself over billions of years.

Basically, two universes shaped like thick pieces of paper that hit each other every now and then.
This would mean there's an edge and maybe even another universe to go into.

However, the universe could be shaped like a penis for all we know.

I believe it's the thick piece of paper theory like Theology said. I think there are just universes stacked on top of one-another.

"The shape of the universe is a matter of debate in physical cosmology over the local and global geometry of the universe which considers both curvature and topology"
