The world will not end December 21st 2012. Not because of the leap years or the new extensions the so called found, but it will be a new age. Scientifically, we are in the age of Pisces i believe and it has just been so that that the same exact date, a new age will come, which is Aquarius.

In astronomy i believe, you can read about a thing called the procession of the equinox, which is some sort of rotation or thing that happens about every 36000 years. Just stick around, it will be fun to find out what will really happen on that day and what it will bring us, just please dont go giving away stuff or shooting yourself in the face the day before.

Out of some .000000000000000000000000000001% that there will be some crazy stupid cheap ass movie destruction found in the movie 2012 which is very unlikely any of that will happen, i would rather much die a great painless quick insta-death by a wave rather than some bullet in my chin.

Why do people keep comparing end of the world dates to each other?
The only way you can compare one end of the world prediction to another is if they are proposed by the same person/people.
Harold Camping was wrong, what? 60 times?

So far, everything the Mayans have said would happen has happened.

The mayans did not use leap years therefore if they did the world should have ended 3 years ago. So stop thinking about it and live your life!

Wrong. The Mayan calender doesn't invoke leap years or need to.
It's worked out in a completely different way. It's accurate.
You don't honestly think that some ancient stone tablet says '21 December 2012 - End.' on it, do you?
