I wanted to jailbrake my ipod but when i plug it in it says its a kodak camera or whatever. Please help someone?

I don't know much about iPods in general, but make sure that you are using the USB cable that is for the iPod.

Also try all the USB ports on the computer.

Old iPods (3G, 2G EVEN 1G) are recognized as cameras, i dont know why.
The 4G (AND 5G) are recognized as apple iPods .
Jailbreaking should still work though (As long as itunes is installed, because its needed to install the custom firmware.) cause my friend jailbroke his.
Go to Jailbreak.me (Its a website) on your iPod.
