I've been looking for some of them, I've wanted the avermedia game capture hd, found it for 50$ on eBay.

I would like one that is good priced and great quality, I don't want the happuage hd pvr 2. I was looking at the roxio hd pro. Nice quality. Have yet to see how much it is.

Any recommendations for a good priced and good quality?

Thanks

The Elgato is a good price and records in 1080p but has a bad recording program.

The Roxio also records in 1080p and is the same price as the Elgato. It also has a better recording program.

The HD PVR 2 has the best recording software and it's also the simplest. It also records in 1080p.

In my opinion the HD PVR 2 is the best as it's the most simple to use and it has more power than the others. As you don't want the HD PVR 2 I would go with the Roxio as it looks better then the Elgato. KYR SP33DY uses the new Roxio.

I've used all three by the way

I have a Hauppauge HD PVR, so I'm sure you could guess what I would recommend.

The elgato software is much simpilar to use and the elgato looks 10x better then the hd pvr 2 plus its smaller and dosent need a power supply. Simplicity at its best (:

The HD PVR 2 has a power supply because it's more powerful. The software is also better with the HD PVR 2, I've used all three and the HD PVR 2 is the best in my opinion.
