you only have a chance to get banned if someone reports you and even then it will take alot of people reporting you for microsoft to even do anything, and also if if you end up getting caught youll only be banned for like 24hrs so dont sweat it, i dont think there was anyone who had goten banned from modding the first boarderlands and not one as of yet has been banned as of my knowledge

Ya you shouldn't get banned. The only way you would is if you play with a creator online or something. But there is always a chance of getting banned.

gearbox doesnt mind that people mod boarderlands, they actually want up to, they were even to go as far as to allow player made content into the xbox but microsoft wasnt willing to let that happen

I have heard about two people being banned for playing with level 150 and above characters, if you are playing with these characters just make sure your lobby is locked so that no one from the outside can join your lobby except your friends, I dont think that gearbox is making a stink but it is microsoft that is sneaking people into the lobbies and banning them. Dont forget about the new clause that came up last week during the download of the new dashboard it did have a clause in it for playing with modded weapons saves and controllers, just be careful.
