i would get warZ because there will be lots of updates for it. its real buggy right now but its in alpha. but its still playable for me even with the bugs

Get DayZ. WarZ is atrocious.

You spawn and get killed almost instantly thanks to "bandits" who can kill with no negative penalties, even if you say you're friendly they'll shoot you in the back and take your stuff, you die in 2-3 shots no matter where you get hit or what weapon, even a FLASHLIGHT. The zombies all run in place and never chase after you. If you die, and you will, you have to wait an hour to play again, or create another character with none of the stats of your previous character, spawn in, die 5 minutes later, and wait the hour to get back on your main anyway, the zombies don't die unless you have a high-powered weapon, you can wail on them for 20 minutes straight with a bat or flashlight, but if they hit you twice you're dead... and it's overall, not very realistic. DayZ isn't much better, but it's a ton better than WarZ.

They're both in alpha, and they've both been under development for about a year, and overall, DayZ takes the cake.

WarZ is a sacm get DayZ

They are both glitchy, they arent fully developed games.

Day Z requires a good computer at least.

War Z requires a not so good computer, even my shity laptop can run it.

Don't bother getting any of them just now dayz standalone is coming out before the end of the year
which will be a lot better than that piece of shi* warz

Get WarZ, please do not get DayZ just because of the fact that it will not leave Alpha because they are already making a DayZ standalone gam.

I'd get DayZ. WarZ isn't fun, its too cartoony IMO. There are a lot of main reasons, but I don't feel like typign them. So I'll just give you my opinion, DayZ. I have both, and I prefer it

the easiest way i can explain it is this, WarZ is kinda like an MMO Dead Island, the graphics are similar. I have both WarZ and DayZ and i prefer WarZ. what people dont realise is this, DayZ has been out for quite a while now and its still buggy as hell, takes forever for it to actualy load up and into a game, most servers you cant use side chat on now,about 45% of DayZ map is pointless ive played Dayz and been running around for about 2.5 hours before seeing 1 person, i got bored.

Now WarZ is a slightly smaller map than DayZ, i believe DayZ is around 225 SKM and WarZ is around 185 SKM, BUT in the WarZ map there are alot more interiors to explore, there are alot more different weapon types, the shooting in WarZ is much better.

at the moment it is in alpha stages and because it is just to TEST certain features are disabled hence the reason no penalties for being a bandit, Come October 31 there will be penalties, and because at the moment there is only about 30% of the overall map unlocked (untill next week) you do bump into quite a few people, HOWEVER when server hosting becomes possible it has been said that your own server can have PVP disabled meaning you can play PVE with your friends/clan if you desire but with a slightly lower chance of rare loot.

it is down to the individual realy, persoanly id go with WarZ, no one knows when the Standalone DayZ will release, so if you have to buy arma II and its DLC you will have to buy the standalone when that is released too.

if you buy WarZ you can play it without having to pay anything more, its like everything in this world Rocket made DayZ and all the Devs have done on WarZ is look at what DayZ failed at and improved it, If you are still unsure wait untill after 31st Oct there will be alot of gameplay vids on youtube, as of now though the NDA restricts people and its kinda unfair to Judge WarZ because most people havnt even seen/played it yet and DayZ has been out alot longer and is still in alpha.
