Delete it from your HDD and download/install it again, usually solves freezing issues.

Just go back to the Marketplace and "buy" it, but it will know you already bought the game and lets you just download it without having to pay for it. Or go to your download history and download it from there.

Copy the save to your USB and then delete minecraft from HDD- then download mc again, its free.

Not if you just delete the game and keep your saved game files. However, the glitch could very well be in your saved games so deleting them might be necessary (only if Minecraft doesn't freeze when you create a new world).
