Hi, I'm new around here but I thought I'd share a few tips on how i make money on UT I'm on PS3 so prices differ but I'm sure it'll work just the same.
I am NOT the best trader but I have traded my way up to 240k so i know a little about making money.
Now i find the best and safest way i make money is the mass buy method. This consists of the player searching for a card finding the cheapest BIN on the market and bidding less that the BIN on all the cards possible
EXAMPLE: i find that a good player to use on PS3 is fabio. now i only stick to the 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 formations as this is what works best for me but you may find others suit you better. Anyway ill search for fabio's and look for the cheapest Fabio BIN on the market. on PS3 the cheapest Fabio is nearly always 800+ BIN in 4-3-3
so i'll go to auction search and search for fabio's with a maximum price of 600 bid 600 on every Fabio on the market. (i normally stick to cards with under an hour left so i'm not waiting around for hours). You wont win most of them but you should win a good fraction of the cards you bid on
Once you won the cards for 600 they will nearly always sell for the 800 BIN price
Note: i find that selling your cards as you win them helps to sell them faster.
This is my first time every trying to write a guide so if it's not clear tell me and i will try to clear it up for you.
EDIT: If this get's positive feedback i will write more money making methods
REMEMBER EA TAX! if doing this with a more expensive player remember EA take 5% off of what you sell.
Example: if selling a player for 10k dont buy him for any more than 9.4k
