i know this is probably impossible
and will probably make a great sig for someone but

is it possible to get the xbox operating system onto a computer, like when u turn on ur computer it would ask if u want to boot into windows or the xbox dashboard

Basically its like a laptop that you can play xbox on. Has a built in xbox on the bottom.

ohhhhhhhhh lol i get it now, but is it somehow possible to extract the OS from the xbox onto a cd and maybe boot into it?

the only way would be an emulator.

considering there is no operating system for the xbox, because you don't need a hard drive to use the xbox

no i dont mean i goto the store and buy something like that im talking about maybe getting the OS from a jtag or devkit and burning it to a disk ad then booting into it on a regular computer

Only way is for a team to develop an emulator and then you would need some extremely powerful pc to run that!!

IDK what this post is, but i dont think it's possible to run the dashboard of an Xbox360 on your computer.. unless its an emulator of some sort.
