If you're doing commentaries or streaming, Dxtory is the way to go. You can have audio from the game and audio from your mic in separate individual channels and control them in your video editing software accordingly, FRAPS doesn't have that feature, nor can you select which codec you'd like to record in, like you can with Dxtory.

For just everyday random recording, I would use FRAPS.

DXTORY. I use it. There's a already registered torrent somewhere on the internet. I downloaded it. Fraps is difficult to use. Idk why, it just doesnt work on my computer.

Actually I use Fraps, I used to use DXtory because Fraps did that, but with the new Frpas version out, you have the option to not split the file every 4GB. So I use Fraps now, I think its better in my opinion.

Well, I just record awesome moments (like when I know they're going to happen) I use FRAPS. But with my new youtube channel coming out I will probably use DXTORY
