Dr. Dre doesn't make his own music, Mos Def isn't that good anymore, Nas isn't as good as he used to be. I couldn't care any less about Kendrick Lamar so I can't say much about him. Rap isn't as bad ass we think. People that were around in the 90's said that rap then sucked. Rap has recovered a little bit as of 2009-2010.

Honestly the only artist that you just listed that I think is untouchable in terms of talent is Biggie. I really don't like Pac very much. I never saw much in him. Eazy E was nothing without NWA aside from a few decent songs.

Macklemore, Kendrick Lamar, Los, Lupe, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Black Thought, Old Kanye. And also Nocturnal Rainbows is a good song by Hopsin

Eazy was kind of mainstream but Em n Tupac got sick lyrics and flow,Pac was basicly rapping poetry and em some of hes old songs are just lyrical insane
