im looking for a fairly cheap laptop around 400GBP. It will be used for gaming, movies ect. I know im not going to get anything special with the budget but im not really bothered about playing games on full graphics, also I would rather have a better 2nd hand laptop than a maybe worse new one.
any suggestions on where to get a laptop or a specific type of laptop to get would be great.
EDIT: what do you guys think of this? [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
and if anyone could tell me the best one on here for my budget I would really appreciate it [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
sorry if I seem lazy, it's just im a novice and don't want to buy a laptop that is terrible.

Be safe and go with a 500$ laptop. Just because theres a big difference in the 400-500$ range of specs. A Dell inspiron is a great laptop. Jusst get a up-to-date model. I have a Dell desktop and it never fails me. Gaming, Editing, There very nice and very fast.

If you want to just use the Internet I would suggest a netbook, if you want gaming as well I would suggest a 400GBP desktop as laptops overheat very easily and don't give the best performance. This there a specific reason why it has to be a laptop?

I don't have enough room for a desktop and I want portability so a laptop is the best way to go, im playing wow on a 2gb ram laptop atm and overheating isn't really a problem because I play on min
