I was just wondering what everybody thought of this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] or could give me a similar recommendation ? Ive had a macbook for 6 years now but I just cant afford to get a new one and I wanted a change as well.

It's a standard web browsing laptop. Generic slow HDD with a glossy low resolution panel with poor colour reproduction. Presumably hard to upgrade. Nothing over the top about it.

That wont be upgrading, it'll be downgrading. Seriously, don't go with HP. I recommend a nice ASUS. This is very nice, for example- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

If you have a macbook, you should just buy a more up to date macbook. they may be expensive, but they are usually better than regular laptops for the same price as them.

That's not how it works, well, at least for most of their line up.
