Hmm, maybe 50 people have died so far in the Carribean. I'm pretty sure that not many people died from this hurricane, more people die in car accidents each week (which is about how long the storm has been going on for???). It's a Category 1 storm, and while it will cause damage, I'm not sure if many are dying from it. Even in places like NYC and Jersey, they still asked people to evacuate and move on to higher ground, and people there obviously had several days to react.

The fact is, these memes are lightening the mood with Hurricane Sandy and are designed to make everyone just have a laugh in the face of a storm. Remember, sometimes, laughter is the best medicine.

Wow you people overreact so much, ITS JUST A CATEGORY 1 HURRICANE! It may cause minor damage but nothing too serious. This happens all the time during Hurricane Season in Florida. Grow a sense of humor.
