this tut im going to explain the best i can im going to explain how to make a magic switch allso known as a lag switch

(what is a lag switch you might be saying to yourself?)a lag switch/magic switch is simply a switch that control's when you want to shut OFF and turn ON your internet connection

(what will that magic switch do for me on a video game?)what it will do is once you turn the switch OFF your are cutting off your internet connection which will make you lag big time

let's say your playing cod mw2 your stuck in a postion where you the last one alive your stuck in a corner with two enemy's near you all you need to do is take your light switch flip it off(making you lag ont heir screen's you will be sitting in place but on your screen you will be running around and they will be laging)the enemy can shoot you and you wont die untill you turn your lag switch back on(turning your connection back on)once you do that the game will catch up with what happened and you will die BUT buy the time you die you will have allso taken BOTH of the enemy's

Step 1 You need a ethernet cord (for those of you who dont know what that is its the cable that run's from the back of your x box 360 into your router or whatever you have it pluged into)

Step 2 you want to cut the plastic part that hide's all of the colored wires (do not cut to deep or you might cut the wires inside)

Step 3 once you have cut the plastic piece fold it back from here you should be able to see all of the colored wires that the plastic piece you just cut cover's

Step 4 now you should see a bunch od diffrent colored wires what you want to do is find the SOLID ORANGE wire theirs going to be two diffrent colored orange wire's ones going to be orange and white the other will be SOLID orange take the SOLID ORANGE wire and cut it completly in half

Step 5 take the solid orange wire that you just cut and on both ends you want to splice/cut off a little bit of the orange wire covering on both sides (the orange is just a plastic cover that protect's the actual wire)

Now from here you should have the orange wire that you cut inhalf both ends should now be missing a little bit of the orange plactic cover and you should just see a bare wire

Step 6 look at your light switch on one of the sides of it their should be 2 Screw's (On the same side of the light switch) take both ends of the orange wire that you cut and wrap one around one screw and the other part of the orange wire you cut wrap that around the other screw once you have done that tighten up both of the screw's


Now the x box 360 did a really good job with fixing the lag so the lagswitch dose not work very well as it used to back in the playstation 2 day's but if you are the host of the game and you do use your lag switch not just you but the entire room will have a massave amount of lag but you being the host the host allways has the upper hand when he/she is laging so if your the host with a switch then you can have some fun i heard with the playstation 3 the lagswitch work's perfectly

this is longer then i was expecting it to be so try it out mess around with it try to find glitches with it(mainly what i used it for back in the ps2 days
