Okay,basically I have this Acer Aspire 5532 notebook.

It has the typical specs,3gb ram,sub par graphics card.,1.6ghz processing, and etc.How could I make this a good machine for watching hd vids consistently?

Also,it has been having this retarded flash player problem where on Firefox I can't view any vids whatsoever or even flash objects.Basically I want virtually no laggy playback for watching bids and recording them with a screen recorder,just want to make this a better video machine.Custom settings,software,whatever,anything you can do to help me out would be appreciated.

Build yourself a desktop. That laptop is a piece of trash. I would just move on and get a decent computer.

Ew, Acer!
But seriously, you could try updating your driver, BUYING A NEW COMPUTER, or you can google how to optimize your PC for performance. That improves performance alot by disabling ALL unnecessary things, like advanced graphics on your start menu bar. This can great improve your computer performance.
I have a COMPAQ PRESARIO CQ57 (Which I Spilled COkE On)
Specs of that:
2GB Ram (UGHH)
1GHz Processor (LIKE WTF?)

Nothing can help you out, Upgrading that piece of crap isn't worth it and the upgrades would be minimal because its a laptop. Building a brand new desktop would be better.

Not calling you a liar but... why are you using a piece of junk if you have such a superior desktop? Oh, no such thing as a gaming laptop.

Hold up I will post a pic of all three soon.

@cheeze

Because I like using my products to their full potential,also I'll assume you aren't trying to be a smart ass,my Asus is geared towards the pc gaming experience,hence why I dubbed its "gaming laptop"
