Hey TTG!
So I'm thinking of upgrading to Windows 8, But....
Even though it says that I lose no data, does that literately mean everything on my Laptop wont be lost (I'm upgrading from Windows 7)
And the things I need updating, are they easily available?
Also, is it worth the upgrade? And I love to play Minecraft so is that still easily playable?
Sorry if this is a lot of questions, just need to know. Preferably someone who has upgraded already would help
Thanks and will Rep+ for helpful people

Windows 8 is terrible. There is a reason why it is so cheap. Just stay with windows 7, youll get more out of it.

Windows 8 is for simpler usage. For example, it's made for someone who doesn't use there PC much with basics. Windows 7 is something you should probably stick with since you like to play games.

Download and install the Windows 8 upgrade assistant. It will check your current configuration for compatibility issues and give you a detailed report.
I also would suggest you do a clean install of Windows 8 instead of upgrading. Upgrading tends to leave a lot of junk that you just don't need and will cause performance issues.

Windows 8 is for mainly touch screens, doesn't look too good either. Just stay with windows 7.

Ok thanks everyone
I think I'll stick to windows 7 for the time being, unless windows 8 gets better.
