Important Update: Amazon.com now has the following statement concerning several versions of BO2, including the Standard and Hardened Edition for XBOX 360: "Delivery may be impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Proceed to checkout to see estimated delivery dates." If you pre-ordered from Amazon, I would check the delivery estimate for it in your account to make sure the delivery of your package won't be affected by the storm.

I've been seeing countless threads concerning pre-ordering Black Ops 2 from Amazon, specifically threads asking whether or not one will receive BO2 on the same day that it comes out. I suggest that people who have pre-ordered games from Amazon.com post their experience here; just something brief, such as "Preordered MW3, received it x-amount of days early/same day as release day/x-amount of days late."

For those of you who ask the general question, 'Will I receive BO2 on release day if I pre-ordered it from Amazon?,' Amazon.com pretty much answers that question for you, namely 'Yes, you will.' The only way that Amazon claims that you will receive BO2 the same day as release day is if you choose two-day shipping. Regular shipping is free, by the way. So the only answer that any of us can actually give on these forums is whether or not Amazon has actually done so in the past for video game pre-orders.

As for my experience with Amazon.com on pre-ordering video games, I have only pre-ordered MW3 Hardened Edition and chose two-day shipping. I received the game on release day before 5 pm.
