I NEVER get lag on Xbox Live...
:trollin:
Same with you i suggest you contact your Internet Provider about your Upload.
Pole you need to quit misinforming these guys.
If their upload speed is above 256 Kbps then they are fine for online gaming, web browsing, etc.
Upload speed will only have an effect if you're are the host of a online game. (Call of Duty for an example)
Now if they want to use Netflix, HuluPlus, etc. then they'll need to upgrade their upload speed.
Also download speed has no real effect for online gaming, expect for updates, DLC, etc. (Anything you download off of Xbox Live/PSN. I don't know if this goes for PC gaming)
But it is recommended to have atleast a 2-3Mbps Download Speed.
The number one thing to worry about for online gaming is your ping time. The lower the ping time usually means low latency. (lag)
