killofduty wrote I don't believe this myself, but I looked and read somewhere that you can have up to 2 TB on a computer. I also read that Indiana University is building, or has built, I don't know which it is, that is supposed to be able to hold Petabytes.

 Not a Hard Drive! We're talking about RAM! The most RAM possible is 192Gb! Not a Terabyte, and especially not a Petabyte.
When was the first 192gb ram laptop? Because I read a thing saying it was 64gb:S

That's like saying that owning a Mac makes you superior.

192Gb is the highest amount windows ultimate can handle, laptop or not.

He was talking to him about the PC type computer, you know that box that buzzes next to your desk when it's on? Surely you didn't assume he was talking about a laptop

This is possible *theoretically*.

If the motherboard was built to be able to do it. and 64-bit operating systems can support up to a theoretical 9 terabytes of RAM.

It is possible.
