Ok thanks for moving this here, if you are not familiar, boot media is basically any media storage that contains a specific program or OS to load on boot, kind of like if you were to install windows 8 (poor example) if you can give me some more info as to where this error occurs and if there is any way you can link me to a visual of this I will be more than happy to help you assess this issue

it happens right when I turn my computer on, and I'll try to get something for you so u can see it, any suggestions on where to put it?

@InfoSec In the future don't refuse to help somone just because the did not post in the right section. Just report the topic for "Wrong section" and then help them!

On topic, as for this, it sounds like your PC is trying to boot strangely. So, firstly remove all usbs and CD's from the PC and then try and boot. From there boot in to BIOS and check the boot order, see what it's booting to by default.

However, more info is needed to be able to help more. As said above, a picture would be good.

Right on Kyle, the only reason I did not help him on the original was because I didn't want the topic to be removed while I was helping him if I marked it wrong section. I will agree that it is definitely something in the boot sequence. I just did a bit of research and found that this can be cause by having multiple storage devices connected, but the main issue is that the hdd is near its end life cycle or is failing, I will continue to assess this and see what we can do.

EDIT: I will also recommend that you check the ribbon connectors between your hdd and motherboard if possible, please be careful when you do this and make sure you turn all power to the system off. Also be sure to ground yourself (touch a piece of metal like the case) to keep static from building because static and computer components do not mix, in fact the amount required to short a device can't even be felt on your skin. So proceed with caution and if you need more help I'm on standby

Thats a plausible reason, I've seen something like this before when the person had left a CD in their disk drive. If it's failing it could be that, depends what exactly it's doing hard to work out not being there.

Thanks for the info guys, I may have to look over that stuff or get it fixed, but here is more info. It's a video on YouTube I made on my iPad, but right now that's all I can do, hopefully it helps to show more info.

Ya issues like these are hard to resolve without actually being there, I have a feeling there is a bad physical connection inside, but if his drive is going I hope he has an external drive he can save his important files to and some spare discs to make a restore disc with, if he does and needs help I will walk him through how to do this that way you aren't bothered. Also, thanks for the above information I was not aware I guess now I can browse the other PC sections and offer support where it is needed!
