Roxio has a new hd game capture. I don't have it but have seen some quality tests and it looked really clear, and it's $130 and comes with a basic video editing software.

Elgato is probably the best, the only thing that really compares to it is the pvr, but that thing has wayyyy to many wires. this has just like 3 going through, so little clutter. Plus, its like the size of a iphone or something.

There is 2 that I would prefer... First is the Hauppauge HD PVR 2 or the Elgato Game Capure HD. The Elgato is great in size and is better if you need it to be more portable. On the other hand is the Hauppauge, which is bigger in size and is recommended to keep for a regular home desktop PC. The Elgato also as less cables than the Hauppauge. Lastly, the Hauppauge has a better default color setting than the the Elgato but the Elgato is rated better for montages because its great for editing and color correcting. Overall, they are both great and I would only choose between these 2.
