Well the image itself is pretty much useless. I can take a look on teamviewer if you would like.

If it was settings that he made to cause it to happen, then it is probably the resolution that you need to adjust.
Try checking with your monitor as well.
You can also try doing a System Restore to undo any changes that were made to the computer.

I would go with Rampages theory, It looks like your Resolution settings are a little pix-elated.
