I just flashed my Hitachi drive, and I was testing it out to see if it works, and it said "Play DVD". I ran back through the tut to make sure I did everything right, and I did.
I'm assuming the drive isn't the original drive that came with the console. I have tested all of my other drives, and none of them are the original. How can I make this work with my console?

When you flash the Discdrive, You're basically replacing it's CPU and DVD key with yours, Unless your Xbox's original drive is a Lite-on or a Benq, It won't work.

What model xbox do you have?

Oh my.. Do YOU have any idea how stupid this sounds?? Your not replacing the CPU with yours, that doesn't even make any F'ing sense?? Whenever you flash your drive your writing a modified firmware that allows your disk drive to read and play burned games. and my xbox's drive is a Hitachi and it's flashed with LT+ 3.0. Here's a note for you, just a little friendly advice ok? Judging by your post count and the amount of time on here, you just post random garbage without even knowing what your talking about. Not to say that you do it on every post, but this is a prime example of stupidity at it's finest. You would look less like an idiot if you asked, "What is flashing your xbox?" At least then you would have learned something, compared to giving false information. Rant of the day over. Educate Yourself.

Thanks for Reading!!!
