Hey Guys
Im having alot of trouble with my internet as of late im currently gettign download speeds of 0.35mb when i pay for 8mb download speed, its extremely slow and cannot download any of the files i need for college !
any help/tips greatly appreciated and + Rep

- Make sure you use a wired connection rather then wifi
Disconnect all idle devices connected to your router
If you must stay connected via wifi get a signal booster
Also make sure nothing is obstructing the path from you to the router

you pay for "up to" 8mb broadband.
if the speed has recently got slower it could be a issue with the provider or line.

If you are only getting .35 Mbps then that is unacceptable and you should call your ISP as it could be a line problem.
Like said above you pay for that speed, but you will not get exactly that speed, but your current speed is just unreasonable.

i contacted them before and they said they were having to upgrade my phone line because i was on a older package but i upgraded to a 8mb package 9 months ago.. will give them a call and see what the crack is my isp is orange (uk) btw
