Then you are bad informed because in CoD you get points for scorestreaks (killstreaks in the past CoDs and pointstreaks in MW3) by capturing objectives and getting kills. That is nothing to do with Halo. By the way almost every game use points.

A more recent list of Black Ops 2 scorestreaks
