-Remixx- wrote i think black ops2 is going to be great.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it's just look at the early cods they were basic games. Things weren't too hard nor too easy. But they take things way over the top now. These Random weapons and things aren't consistent. It's still a decent game but things won't ever be the same.

Everything on that post is useless.
Not really... there's many "useful" things to know.

I'm excited for black ops 2.
If you don't like it, Don't buy it please, I don't need to hear people complain about the game in lobbies.

Fluentt wrote I know, I know a lot of you will say that I am being unduly harsh right out of the gate and that I cant judge a game based on one measly trailer or what the company has already confirmed. That I will be unfair to something that I dont fully understand and have no chance of knowing because I havent played it yetlike how I did with Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.
Which by the way if you go back and read it, turned out to be the general consensus on said game. Though in all honesty I have been told that I was too optimistic about it.
Anyhow, I want first to look at the different things that satellite this release.
Activision through their Blizzard puppet will be releasing Diablo 3 this year as well as the next World of Warcraft expansion Mists of Kung Fu-Pandaria so their year from a financial stand point is absolutely golden already.
With the release of a new Ghost Recon this spring, and a new Medal of Honor this fall the first person shooter market is going to be really tight. While it may be a new Call of Duty the main fan base always hates the game when the next FPS comes along. On the other hand the Tom Clancy franchise incites extreme loyalty from its core demographic that still play all the old franchise releases! When was the last time the average Call of Duty guy dusted off his Call of Duty 3?
Black Ops is considered by the average player to be a joke outside of Zombie mode; most people just kind of laugh and hang on to it to kill zombies. So if they half heart it no one will be all that upset, after all Its Black Ops..
Now lets take a look at what the game has shown to offer us; as well as what the company has confirmed already.
The story is straight forward enough in the 1980s as the Russia America cold war was beginning to wind down. Someone is mindful enough to realize that America and China would both be stupid enough that as long as he acted perfectly; every political leader for years reacted exactly as he needed that eventually they would enter a cold war that wouldnt escalate past that.
It took forty years but luckily the Cold War he wanted so badly did manage to start right before he died of old age.
The main conflict of the story in 2025 comes from the fact that both nations have made large, manless war machines for air, ground and water combat. Luckily for the villains no real security or back up plan was in place, so the machines will get hijacked and turned back on their owners.
It is also very lucky for the villains that the Americans seemed to place their war machines so close to their own large population centres.
The other main conflict of the game is how this all came about; which takes place in the ever exciting times of the 1980s. You know the era where practically nothing happened?
You ready to play through what will pretty much be the same story as before just will more Tom Sellick moustaches?
Dont believe me? Well look at how wide and varied the stories have been between the three Modern Warfares.
I am curious what type of Black Op requires you to ride horses; and what type of opponent you are against who cant deal with said horse back riders, riding in the open, in the middle of a clear day with a fully armed attack helicopter.
I also love how on a big open stretch of land the jeep cant surpass the horses ever impressive 40 mph. Open, flat terrainopen flat, hard packed terrainwith a lead
Though the other possibility is that the squad is using the ponies to assault a target and the helicopter is support but again that would mean that the guys in the jeeps with the weapons couldnt deal with the horses.and the horses were trained to ignore missile strike noises and helicopter sounds,
On the other handponies!!!
Nothing else looks new or exciting.
But Tanis! There are all those side missions that you can do with the different modes; and they can affect the ending of the story.
If you fail at any of them it auto saves and changes the story; it also will at the end of the game show you how things would have gone if you hadnt sucked. If you win then they wont show what could have happen, only if you suck will you get to see what could have been different.
Also all of those new and exciting types of game play; think on it for a moment; youve done them all before in other Call of Duty games.
Finally the biggest point why you shouldnt get excited about this game; aside from the fact that the story is goofy, the premise requiring everyone to be 100% stupid 100% of the time, and re-hashing everything you have already done is the price war that happened with Modern Warfare 3. How long was it before someone was selling it for 39.95 new on special? 6 weeks?
That and be honest with yourself, how happy have you been with your other Call of Duty purchases? How many of them have been so good that they were worth the money you put out?
Time and again it is the same thing, why get excited? Why rush? Why pine for something you have already bought again and again?
