Xbox 360 Slim DVD Drive Problems

So today I finally started having some issues with my Xbox. I'm having the problem with the drive tray staying open, which doesn't seem to be too uncommon of a problem, but I still can't figure it out.
I'll turn my Xbox on, an as soon as I do, the tray will open. If I try to close it, it closes, opens again. I can force it closed, and turn my Xbox off, but it opens again, even when the Xbox appears to be off. Only way to actually keep it closed is to close it, and then unplug it. But as soon as I turn it on, it opens.
I have some pictures that I'm waiting to upload of the drive itself. There some kind of a loose cable that I have no idea what to do with. :smash:
