This topic is filled with stupidity.
First off, ONE day out of school won't make a difference, you can always ask for the work you missed.
Second, playing video games doesn't make you a nerd, or a kid with no life, or brains. Tons of people play video games.
Third and final, why even bother arguing about something as stupid as this?

Also: OP, maybe you should be in school if you used "there" instead of "their".
