The method is true, that is how everyone hosts with any form of modding console so they don't get console banned.

*Here to help, It all depends on what you want to do with your jtag. If all you want to do is host xp lobbies for cod games, and just infect your retail through the jtag then just get an older xbox (xenon, jasper, or falcon), because of the price (cheaper). If you want to run emulators and actually use the jtag/RGH to its full potential (Run emulators, play burnt games, and stuff like that offline) then get a slim xbox (trinity, corona, any slim system) because they basically do not red ring, unless left on for days and there is much more potential to them., but it comes with a price ($$$) could spend up to $500 on one. Well a good jtag to start off with a xexon jtag they come very cheap but its very easy to unbann if you get it banned but it is prone to red ring there is a gudie to all of this where you can see the diffrent type of jtags and spec's hope i could help you out
