I found this to be pretty interesting 20 out of the 50 (or 51 if you want to count Puerto Rico) want to "Peacefully" secede from the United states. The states that have filed for Secession are Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Of all the petitions, Texas has the most signatures so far, with more than 23,000.

Opinion: I doubt a single state will secede from the U.S cause petitions like this were made in 2004 and 2008. Let alone i believe the only state that could actually be successful as a nation is Texas because back in the 1830's it was a country (The Republic of Texas) and it was successful let alone it had oil and agriculture.

Funny thing is if you check on this now many states including georgia, minesota, and texas already have 24,000+ Votes. and if you read the entire article you copied from their trying to secede peacfully.to be honest it probably wont happen but theirs a huge chance it will happen some other way(hostile) may i remind you this country is going to sh*t 16 Trillon dollars in debt annd obama planning to spend anohter 7 trillion dollars isnt going to magically fix the economy either. but trust me this isnt stupid or fake people are taking this serious.

lol that's completely absurd and I really hope that the federal government would not let that happen.

Don't worry, it'll never happen. There won't be a state that ever leaves. None of them would make it by themselves.
