Haha most of my teachers just say "What did you say??" and then I play it off. (Sophomore)

I'm in High school and my teachers are pretty chill about it, so are the substitutes when we have them.
I never really had anything like that happen to me in Junior High but I'm sorry man, sounds like a pretty sucky situation.

Well i didn't say it to anyone i just got mad because Visual Basic wasen't working and we had to hurry and finish our assignment -_- i hope i just get like 2 after schools or something like that

I'm a senior and none of our teachers care. Early today someone called this girl a dumb bi*ch and a wh*re in front of the teacher. Nothing happened. I think they gave up.

I fake coughed and i got a detention for disrupting him

So the next day i said the f word and he didnt listen

Teachers don't care at my school. In junior high, they stopped for 8th graders. In high school, there's so many people and so much socializing, along with how wild teens can be. It just gets loud and teachers know they'll hear words slip left and right, so why bother with it? In a big school, if you give someone punishment for it but not for someone else, the person receiving punishment will instantly label the teacher as biased and all that.

Seriously though, it's just a word. 95% of the time we let them out by accidental force of habit and nature.

As long as I apologize after saying it, my teachers are pretty chill about curse words.

Just deal with it! There rules there set for a reason!

Just tell your principal exactly what happened. Most people will understand that you didn't say it to hurt anyone and he probably won't even make you serve a detention. Because he to gets frustrated and occasionally slips the f-word under his breath too, every one does.

If he doesn't see it that way explain it to him that way... Even it you do get a detention, it's like an hour that you get to focus on your homework with no distractions. Then you get to go home with your homework done
