"It is not enough like Black Ops 1," do you want every game in a series to be alike? My xbox is shot so I haven't even played it yet but by what my friends tell me, it's pretty good. Every game has it's flaws and good things. I saw a few videos and I think they took some ideas from BF. Such as the new prone/crawling look, a bit similar to BF3.

I'm not gonna lie, I really like the game.
I'd put it up there with the first BO, I have really nothing to dog on it for.

I think your connection isn't very good. Or you're not connecting to the servers very well because I experience nothing like you described.

"UAVs rule the sky"

Well duh the game just came out and a lot of people still haven't unlocked many score streaks yet... Thats how its been for every COD on release. Once people get the hang of it and level up, you'll see far less UAVs in the sky

J1gSaW wrote Black Ops 2 was supposed to change it all. Save the series. In my opinion, it hasn't brought it down, but it did not live up to the hype. Let's talk about why.

Black Ops 1 was, I think, the best cod yet. The feel of the game was fantastic. Smooth, fun, competitive, all in one. MW3 as we all know was fun at times, but mostly annoying. I find black Ops 2 to be annoying because it is too much like MW3. Killstreaks and UAVs rule the sky at all times, and it is way too fast paced. But the guns are horrible, they take way too many bullets to kill someone. Special grenades are over powered. Its a run and gun game, which is sad :/


Main point: Black Ops 2 is a bit of a let down. It is not enough like black ops 1, and too much like mw3. sad...

edit: I am a good overall call of duty player, i dont just suck. i know what i am talking about.

black ops 1 had to be the worst game in the world, NO it was not smooth, TOOK YEARS to kill some one, guns balance is awful, perk placement is awful, maps suck. Smooth and fun describes every call of duty in different peoples eyes.

My personal opinion is that the first Black Ops wasn't that great (the guns were very annoying and unbalanced feeling), MW3 had very disappointing maps, World At War had tanks (which COD shouldn't touch vehicles.) Those are the things I have been disappointed about in the series. Black Ops 2 has been pretty good so far. The stuns do last a bit long, but I wouldn't consider it a major problem. I don't have a UAV problem either, but I also shoot them out of the air with my SMAW. Treyarch wasn't the type to follow Infinity Ward, so that's probably why it takes a while to kill someone. Infinity Ward gave everyone Stopping Power, Treyarch most likely didn't. Run and gun or camping has always been the Call of Duty way since Call of Duty 4 (maybe even longer.) I find it to be a good game so far, but these are only my opinions. I understand where it wouldn't appeal to someone else, but it does appeal to me. It keeps me pretty entertained.

I was with you. I didnt really like it. Just just BO1. You get BSed too much and you should kill a lot more people then you do. I was ready to return it. I really i was. But i decided to hang onto it and give it more chances. And i still hate it. Lol. But i think we are all used to mw2/3 and BO2 is a way different user control and actions. So just give it a few weeks, hopefully it will get better.

Black ops 1 wasnt great, it was not smooth fun or competitive! It was an unbalanced lagfest with a choppy framerate. It isn't that fast paced, if you play TDM its probably evenly paced to other Cod's. Guns are so much better than in Black ops 1, the recoil is manageable and overall there is a large amount of quality guns whilst in bops 1, there was the Famas/AK47/Ak74u/Galil and the rest were meh. I dont even know what to say about you saying SPECIAL grenades are overpowered. Oh my word.
