Campaign
Where to begin? The campaign has more holes than Swiss cheese. Master chief has more dialogue than any other Halo game... combined. This ruins the mysterious and dark aspect of his entire persona. The whole campaign lasts like 5 hours, and hardly makes any sense. it's just one plot twist after another. Oh, and I know MC is invincible and all... but how many times does he crash a damn plane and get up without a scratch? Not to mention the ending ::spoiler alert:: How he self detonates a nuclear bomb and survives like it was nothing... Who designed the campaign? A team of space monkeys? The enemies make no sense of who they are or where they came from, especially the boss. And speaking of the boss, how does he even die? Cortana jumps on him and electrocutes him to death? Probably the worst and short-lived campaign I've ever played of any game.

Mulitplayer
As if 343 didn't screw up the game enough already...
The MP isn't even Halo anymore, it's just CoD with Halo textures. There are now "perks"??? HAHAHA this is just pathetic. it takes the entire "Halo" aspect of the game and throws it out of the window. Now the game isn't played fairly, it's played for whoever has a better perk setup. You can now make you shield regenerate quicker, and can spawn a shield in front of you in the middle of combat? The game is literally made for defensive gameplay. If someone shooting at you, all you have to do it SPRINT behind a wall. Or you could just spawn a SHIELD directly in front of you as you're being shot. Or wait! You could use a SPEED BOOST to burst away from combat, like a true brave soldier! 343 is feeding off of CoD to make their game. The vehicles are incredibly overpowered. Weapons are scarce to find on the map, now that there is an "ordnance drop". Speaking of those drops, WHY?!?! Just why?! Such a stupid thing to add. But again, 343 is just trying to copy off of CoDs killstreaks. The game has been out for over a week and yet there hasn't been one patch... It's nearly impossible to find a game that doesn't lag and restart. I'm starting to think they are running their servers off of computers from the 90's. Oh and the ranking system??? What a joke! The ranking system was designed for 5 year old babies. Nevermind, 343 just copied off of CoDs ranking system. But what's the difference? Get XP, rank up. Rinse and repeat. No skill involved.

I'm all for a game changing for the better, and think it's good when a game adds new and better stuff. But 343 didn't change the game to different, they changed it to be the SAME!! The same as EVERY OTHER FPS! Halo was the one FPS that was different. It was actually fair to all players. Halo series is absolute trash now.

With all this being said, i'm still finding ways to have fun on the MP. With all the terrible, game-ruining things, there are still ways to enjoy the gameplay. Teaming up with friends is always fun in any game, and when you do good, you have fun.

I can't be the only one who thinks this game is too different to even be considered a Halo game. Anyone else agree or have any other opinions?

Halo has een apart of my life since I was 5.. They ruined it. **** 343. Microsoft did it so much better!!!
I mean wtf!?! Its halo! Not COD? I am actually pretty sad and dissapointed 343 went this way and took Bungies spot. The game is too easy. Already level 60. I mean yea using ur BR takes skill but kids across the map shooting a dmr and killin u in 4 seconds is retarted. No skill involved. well i might go to gamestop and ge blackops.

lol i am the biggest halo fan.. i get balck ops yesterday mid night.. i got halo 4 at midnight on the 5th.... i play 1 hour of black ops.. back to halo lol u havent probably played the other halos and u just cant accept that u cant really camp in this game sorry bro the campaign was the best so far, multiplayer is addicting and spartan ops keep telling a story.. u mad?

As a long time fan of both CoD and Halo, I think Halo 4 is still a good game. Parts of the game I don't agree with, but every game is like that. I am mostly upset by the fact the the campaign and MP isn't like Halo used to be. I hate to be nostalgic, but I think they should have stuck with original Halo MP. Like I said, i'm still playing the game, and i surely don't "suck" at it either. Maybe it's because I didn't play Reach or ODST.

i really only played halo 3 the most and like i said and the others that have posted you obliviously havent played the campaign, it is the best halo campaign ever/ the story doesnt have whole in it. If you listed to the story and cutscenes and you had a brain bigger than a 12 yr old you would be able too.

Understandable. That's because my post was all of the bad stuff about the game, so of course it makes it look like I hate it! but there are tons of goods things about the game.

Co-op campaign is always so much fun. Teaming up with 3 friends and trying to beat it on legendary is classical and offers hours of enjoyable gameplay.

Theater mode is amazing! The one thing CoD copied from Halo!!

Forge... amazing. Forge is so much fun to mess around on a map for hours. Being able to add and item you want on any map offers so much creativity. Just waiting for a cool custom game to be made in forge:)

Why do people automatically compare this game to CoD? They're COMPLETELY different games with different audiences. Halo takes a hell of a lot more skill to play than CoD.
