So i finished BO 2, and i have no clue how to describe the ending.
I Decided to "Capture Mendez", don't instead of killing, he broke out and killed frank woods.
In the End Woods got out of the wheelchair and walked around then play he drums at a live preformance, WITH Raul Mendez... <<They are in a band together.
If you look in the background, you will see it go through almost every mission, but just little scenes.
Was the campaign just recorded for a Music Video?

It's nothing to do with the campaign its just to spice up the credits ;)

There are 4 different endings to the game.. You got the alternate ending. Not the best ending.

It's just a little Easter egg. The band that they are playing with is Avenged Seven Fold ( A7X ) I'm a fan btw. they have done some music in the game and have done since BO1. They just put that in there to thank the band and let us listen to some good music...

(Spoilers ahead.) Yeah, You got the "bad" ending. There are several different endings to the game, depending on what you do throughout it.
First off, To save Mason, You shoot him in the leg twice.
To keep Mendez in jail, You have to save Karma so she can stop the virus. (This has something to do with him escaping I believe.) And to do this, You have to kill Harper instead of trying to kill Mendez as Ferid. (Fairly sure that's his name.)
To get the best ending, You have to do discover all possible extras when possible in the campaign. And do stuff like the Strike missions. Here is a video tutorial: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
