The community in Call of Duty really irritates me. I can't join one game, not one, without someone or multiple someone's yelling, making fun of, being obnoxious, making jokes about each others mothers, and talking up how good they are at the game or how bad the other person is. It just really gets to me that I can't get on Call of Duty and have a good/fun time. It always seems to make me mad or upset or whatever. Lastly, I would just like to end this rant by saying thanks for taking the time to read and have a nice rest of the night. - Rant Over

Kids..... gotta love them?

Seriously it was annoying when I used to be on Xbox Live. The threats in game chat, the death threat messages, "I'm going to hit you offline" and "My dad works for Microsoft and he will ban you" messages.

Thank God I'm console banned now. :suicide:

Sure the community with CoD has gone out the window with how ridiculous it is just to try to talk to people but every now and then in every game (halo is where i usually find these people) you find people who are actually mature enough to understand the game and why it is truly rated M. The M standing for mature (17+) are people who know not to complain about the game, they understand there are losses and setbacks. Over the last seven years of playing mostly FPS games, communities have worsened due to people who buy the game but cant handle truths. CoD is a big one due to its heavy population of younger gamers raised on the principle that everyone is a winner. Sure, I played M rated games as a 13, hell even 9, year old person; i could handle the gore and other crap but the real rating is for the players actions and emotions that will backlash from games and competitions that force everyone to not be winners. The mindset of the CoD community has become everyone needs to be a winner and unfortunately this has resulted in the community devolving into a younger group with little knowledge other than that of the game itself.

The CoD community is horrid. At this point, it's just a bunch of little 11 year olds, who shouldn't have the game, FaZe wanna-bes, and douchebag teens. That's why I play BF3 or Halo 3/Reach alot.

Ah! I remember when I got these messages whenever I was a squeaker :3 - Been a couple years since I got those. I still got the whole "My Uncle/Cousin/Dad works at Microsoft!" messages whenever I'm hosting lobbies, or just using wallhack in mw2 search.

To be honest I just think it's because they died one kill off their first ever UAV drone.

I got a death threat from a Scottish adult because I trapped him and he teamkilled me and got booted one kill off his Dogs (This was World at War, so nothing special there.)

For me, the death threats are humorous, and I just provoke the kids to 'Get their dad who works for Microsoft to ban me', because it wont happen. Even if it does, it's a false ban and I can file a complaint to Microsoft about it.

Just provoke them to get pissed off because chances are they'll throw their controller at the screen and will get banned for months by their parents, so WIN.

So what if it doesn't allow xbox live party? Well you're stuck with either muting them, or just ignore them. I personally dont play cod because of the community. When I play bf3 or games like that, it involves communicating like actual communicating, not hating on each other like in cod and just go lone wolf rushing 24/7
