Well as of right now im using windstream which is the only cable internet that is zoned for me so verizon fios is sadly out of the question. So right now im connected by ethernet and i am getting horrible speed i loose connection time to time. I have a 6mb speed and cant go to 12 mb for some reason. If I get satellite internet wont I get horrible ping because of the signal going from earth to satellite then back to earth? Also is there a way it could be my computer? Im writing this on a mac right now and its doing fine. If it is my computer how would I go about fixing it? Office depot? Geek Squad? Waiting 4 billion years by sending it back to new egg with the warranty I got? Please help me slow internet SUCKS! Ps this is a laptop [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

jesus christ man! 1. your processer is horrible. 2. your internet. wow. mabye its the ghz making your internet resualts so low. i would suggest getting a new pc. NOT LAPTOP.

my internet is on average 2.00 mb/s and thats plenty for me and is not slow at all....

3mb/ps is fine it most likely you think the connection is slow but it is really your computer try updating the processor or just get a new one lol i have the new asusg75v and it is connected to 3mb/ps and im doing fine so its more likely your computer

i get less than 2mb/s (best in my area) and i have no problems, sure downloading is slow but my ping is around 25-30 witch isnt bad and i have a good proscessor so try uprgading that, go for a i5 2500k or somehting its cheap and it will suit all your gaming needs
