what is license transferring and if i do it will i get banned?
Because i wanted to license transfer minecraft at my friends house but i heard you can get banned, is that true?

Yes you can get banned.

It's called marketplace theft.

People do it all the time, most get away with it but you CAN get caught.

they have it so when you buy another xbox and content is missing you will use the xfer and it will restore your DLC

Marketplace theft is deliberately modifying or stealing from XBL MP. License Transfers are 100% unbanable.

It's where you could Transfer Marketplace items (DLC, XBLA, etc.) to another account.

My friend did it for me a while back so I could get Minecraft and I never got banned, I also transferred the Halo: Reach Anniversary DLC to a couple of my friends and got Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3 Online Pass and nothing ever happened.

Its hard to get caught doing it but you can get banned for it tho.
