I heard that it would be out in early february because they would probably want to release the rest of the adventure update as soon as possible after the start of the new year.

All you'r hearing about the release is rumours, 4J Studios have set no release date, and they have not released any info about the release date either, The ONLY PLACE for the MOST accurate info is to Follow them on twitter, other then clearing up all the rumours people are tell you bro, i cant tell you anything. =]
