In dawngard if you go to a city like Whiterun a orc should walk up to u and say where vampire hunters something like that.Heartfire you have to jarl's respect like killing giants or other things then u can buy a house or make one.But if you did this all ready redownload it.

The Dawnguard DLC, at least for me, all I have to do is bump into a guard that says "They are reforming the Dawnguard" to start the Dawnguard DLC quest. I am usually around level 8 or so before the Hearthfire DLC kicks in.

Danguard quest starts at level 10 aproximately and after talking to a dawnguard member or city guard.

In Heartfire at level 15 aproximately you will recive a letter from Falkreath jarl asking you to go with him and kill some bandits and after doing the quest he will tell you that you can buy a land from his stewart in wich you can build your house.

What level are you? you need to be level 10
