I'd rather buy from gamestop than a large corporate company like target or walmart..... All gamestop does is sell games. They need to make a profit somehow.... Every product is overpriced and costs a lot, buts that's how businesses don't close down. So I say buy from Gamestop.

You're ranting because Gamestop runs successfully? This is what businesses do; they make profit. EB games had the same trade-in system before it was bought out. No current game selling stores will even accept a trade in, so you should be happy that you can at least get money for your old games. Also, you quoted it is a monopoly; it certainly is not. Our government has acts in place to protect from a company becoming a monopoly, and if Gamestop truly was a monopoly it would be shut down. Are you forgetting Best Buy, Target, WalMart, Toys R' Us, and Amazon? I'm sure there's plenty of other places to buy games other than the ones I listed as well.

Used games are cheaper, as if going to walmart and buying a brand new sealed game for 60, you might get a couple bucks off-10's of dollars off..

Gamestop is technically economically smart, realised the boom for Video Games and took advantage by offering their services. But I still Agree with the post.
