Hey guys. So whenever I put a disc in it says reading for about 2 seconds and then says open tray like there's no disc in my xbox. I've tried multiple games and discs and nothing works. M xbox is off warranty and I want to know if there's anyway I can fix it myself?

Try cleaning the Lens with Rubber Alochol and a Q-Tip.

that or carefully rub the eye in the disk drive with a micro-fiber towel or something micro-fiber.

Open up your Xbox and then clean your lens with a cotton swab (Q-tip) and alcohol.
Dip the cotton swab in the alcohol, don't make it to wet, make sure its only damp and then wipe your lens slowly and smoothly.
If that doesn't work then order a new disc tray from ebay. It's only about 30$ for a brand new one and make sure it's the same disc tray that's in your Xbox.
