The things you will need-
case
Motherboard
Harddrive
RAM
disk drive
Processor
Power supply

you may also want to buy
a graphics card (depending on if you will be gaming or not) in your case an integrated one with the motherboard should be fine
CPU fan- you will get one with the cpu however it will be pretty rubbish however if you nor not doing much then it should be fine
Wireless adaptor- if you will not be using an ethernet cable and want it to be wireless

The best thing would be to post on the sticky by r00t as he will give you some good components and he knows what hes talking about

It's just a bad idea to go with AMD at all at this point. You're missing the three threes, USB 3.0, SATA III, and PCI-E 3.0. The Phenom's TDP is twice that of the i3 and it's just a fact that Intel CPUs are better for realistic usage scenarios. I'm not a fanboy, I just recommend the better products.

Just download a copy there are a lot of videos on youtube. no point in paying for it.
