Android is better, I like it just because there are plenty of them that you sorta get a custom android to your liking in a way.

Consistent wrote Android. Everyone thinks apple is better, but no. Just no.

It's ok guys, Maybe the Iphone 5s will be a little faster!

The iPhone 5 is just as fast if not faster than any phone out right now.

Your point is invalid unless you have a reliable source saying otherwise. I have personally never seen an App specifically for an iPod Touch which would allow for you to use the Device exactly how you would with an iPhone.

No you did not. Thus your point is invalid, yet again. From personal experience, I've dropped my iPhone 4 at least 10 times, and it's still working perfectly fine and nothing was even damaged. I've dropped my Galaxy S3 once, and the back completely cracked, and the screen had a black crack going down the middle. Later that day, the phone was returned and I went back to my iPhone 4, good ol' Apple.

-Snowflake wrote If your phone breaks, they will help you out and replace it for no fee, unlike apple who will charge you that extra 100 dollars

Lies. Apple has number one support/care for their customers. They replaced a legitimately broken item, no questions asked, all times, without fail.

I can't be bothered to point anything else out, as it clearly isn't worth my time. Your lack of knowledge tires me. Just read up a little before making rants on this specific subject in the future, and then come back with reliable sources/proof.
I did not say iPods touches were exactly like the iPhone, but pretty close, I never said the app was specifically for a iPod to be a phone... There is a app text plus which allows you to text people, and it's free. There is another app made by the same company called textcall plus which allows you to make phone calls. And I am sure those are not the only apps out there. And of how many times I have dropped my phone, maybe not a million, since that is a little over dramatic, but I have had the same droid for 3 yrs and I have in fact dropped it plenty of times. I can give you a specific example of how bad. I was standing in my kitchen about 50 ft from the couch in my living room, and desided to "toss" my phone onto the couch,my toss ended up being a chuck, and the phone slammed against the wall and fell behind the couch, I went over, and besides it opening and the battery Falling out it was fine. I have seen my friend drop her iPhone from a table and the screen shattered.

That's weird, I dropped my iPhone off the roof once (3 level building) and it had no cracks or anything. My buddy dropped his android out of his pocket and it was so shattered he just threw it away, didn't bother keeping it or returning it.

I think everyone on this post has forgotten that android is only an operating system. The quality of the phone itself is the responsibility of the companies such as Motorola and Samsung. So the problem with quality has nothing to do with Android.

But I prefer Android over IOS, it is really close and I guess the reason I do has nothing to do with the operating system. It's the screen size. My job requires me to find lots of addresses and drive to them. So gps for me is everything, so rocking that 4.8 inch screen over the old 3.5 or even the 4 inch that comes in the iphone 5 is completely obsolete.

Also, how is Apple corrupt? It is a company, the sole reason of a company is to make money. If a company is not making money, it stops being a company. It is the consumers fault for excepting extremely high prices for a product that costs little to make. As we are now a "throw away society", company's don't want to make products that last forever because they know in just a few years. Their product will just be a out of date gadget that sits in a drawer.

Exactly what I was thinking. Apple is corrupt just because they make a ton of money
off of the best devices in the world? Just doesn't seem right.

Oh, sigh.. the stupidity in this topic is insane. I can't believe people still post these 'rants' anyway, really it comes down to a matter of opinion, you're title makes no sense anyway. Android is an operating system whereas Apple are a company. A better comparison, that makes sense would be 'iOS vs. Android' or 'iPhone vs. (insert phone running Android here)' iPhone's DO beat some Android running phone's, for example the HTC Wildfire, the iPhone has a better and faster processor than the Wildfire but specifically speaking and factually speaking, the Galaxy S3 beats the iPhone 5, it has a better processor, audio chip, screen etc..! IMO, Apple are a terrible company, I think they're a bunch of non-helpful, money-grabbers but that is just my opinion based on MY experiences with Apple. People also say iOS is smoother than Android but that's not correct, it depends on the processor, not the operating system entirely.

**EDIT** I dropped a HTC Wildfire(granted, it genuinely is a terrible phone) at least 25 times from multiple different height's, the lowest being around knee-height and the highest being down a set of stairs(around 20-25 stairs) and never had too much damage. There are visible defects such as dents and bumps on the phone case but no scratches on the screen or cracks anywhere. My friend had an iPhone 3GS and dropped it from elbow height and the screen smashed into pieces. One of my other friend's had an iPhone 4S and dropped it from around elbow height too and the screen smashed in half. My mother and her friend both have iPhones(My mother has a 4S and her friend, the iPhone 4), both have dropped their phone's multiple times AND lost the phone's multiple times on night's out and still have no damage what-so-ever to the screen but do however, have a few visible defects such as scratches around the bumper of the phone but that's it so all the argument's about durability are technically incorrect 'cause it all depends on physics, gravity, where it was dropped and from what height it was dropped.

That's obviously a lie. ANY phone that was dropped from a 3 story building would break(apart from Nokia :trollin ) even if there was just small cracks or dents, it would NEVER be completely intact. How can you drop something out of a pocket? They're fool-proof.. pockets are not high tech gadgets that are complicated to use? I also doubt anyone would just throw away a phone, he would have at least sold on eBay for spares or repairs or something if that DID happen which is HIGHLY doubtful.
