Well I am going to be buying a graphics card and I have a budget of 230!
So far I am stuck between:

i have that gtx 660 and its awesome ultra settings on all games so far with 60+ fps

7950 all day everyday.
Just look up a benchmark between the two and compare.

im a bit shit with computers and stuff but if the higher the number on an amd radeon the better ?

Is it better with HD ?

They are both great cards and both have a lot of strengths. the HD 7950 has a higher power consumption but will probably get more FPS on most games. I guess it depends on your build. anyway a comparison- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Because it is a more advanced card, has double the memory bus width more RAM,

With the new drivers the 7950 is really good.

It would be the best choice!

Ask r00t to confirm this, he will say the same thing or maybe suggest a better value card that will do what you want to do.
