has anyone had this problem: you're running at somone about to shoot them, shoot them at about 4 feet away with the KSG, and they DONT die, not even a HITMARKER. i find this really dumb considering its not too diffrent from the 870...

It fires a slug instead of a buckshot like most shotguns.
If you don't understand what that means, instead of firing a bunch of pellets it shoots a single "lump" to kill on impact. Don't ever shoot from the hip with the KSG, you'll miss 8 times out of 10, even at close range.

It's also as different from the R870 as a pump action shotgun can possibly be.

With the KSG you can get some really stupid 1HK's over distance at the cost of no spread. Think of it as a sniper, you only get one shot so make it count.
