K CPU with stock cooling: -2
Overkill case: -1.5
Insanely overkill PSU: -1.5
Need to manage cables: -1

4/10, not a smart build at all. You could have saved a lot of money and gotten proportionate hardware.

Yea I posted on your topic once and I forgot to check back and my parents told me I had to order that day so I just stuck with these parts, probably going to buy a cpu cooler this christmas and fix the cable management aswell, thanks for your feedback next build I'll be sure to check with you!!!

don't get discouraged. is what satisfies you. This guy is really harsh when it comes to rating a computer I guess its cause he's a "pro" with this stuff but I think its pretty nice build there. Except for the GPU, id go with more power, but that's just me.

Regardless of what you think of r00t's opinion, he is 100% correct on each of his points.

OP, not a bad CPU/GPU combo, you just could've gone better on other hardware as r00t pointed out.

You could've gotten a less of an overkill case, and put 20 more dollars towards i5-3570k
A 550-600w CPU should've and would've been pretty much enough imo
Okay build overall, but try to route those cables better, it doesn't even take that long
