Exploiters set to be swiftly dealt with in Black Ops 2, punishments outlined:
*AS OF 22 HOURS AGO*
As a result of players discovering a glitch which allows them to almost instantly achieve prestige rank 10 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Treyarch announced that they will be fixing the issue and dealing with the offenders.
Treyarch also reminded players of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Security and Enforcment Policy. The use of this specific exploit would fall under the "boosting" category of the rules for online play. This specific section deals with users who exploit the game for the purpose of gaining XP, prestige, game score, weapon level, or in-game unlock.
First offense users will be temporarily banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset, and their leaderboard entries will be deleted!
