You very well could try recovering, as Gunslaps said. But I also agree with Obsidian on this one. It shouldn't ever be released for free. Maybe at a discounted price after like 6 months but no, no freebies on a pre-order only IMO.

All he has to do is recover account that has it then go to download history and download it.
