If your PC is crashing at startup it could be down to a virus or a bad driver you might have installed or even a new piece or hardware.

more info would be helpful

I recommend you go over the basics, I haven't explained why these issues may be the reason of your slow PC speed, but these are certainly the things everyone will tell you:

-Check what recent software/ hardware you've installed:
if you think that's what's responsible then back it up then remove it.

-Fix registry errors:
You can google 'Registry Fixer' or something to get a program to automatically do it.

-Defrag your disk:
Disk fragmentation can slow access to your HDD and as a result your computer may take longer to find what it needs.

-Clean your recycle bin:
Sounds stupid, right? Well this can take up a hefty amount of space, and (sometimes) may affect your PC's speed. Clean it, and check for broken shortcuts to speed up your pc.

-Check your drivers are up to date:
If you have windows vista, 7 or 8, they should automatically update. Otherwise google or youtube how to check for updates- you'll find a google search will produce very clear instructions on how to do this.

-Install a good anti-virus software:
Something like AVG or MWB. A quick search on google will find you their premium trial downloads or free software.

Once you've done all this, post it in the thread description to allow everyone viewing to know what you've done so far
Good luck!

check for bloatware and your startup programs through control panel also make sure you only have one AV installed and running they tend to slow a pc down sometimes.

I'm sorry but what is bloatware
extra crap that is either preinstalled by the manufacturer or installed through the downloading and installing of other software packages that tend to want to all start during boot.that or any installed package you have no use for.
